AVAD Energy Partners is a private oil and natural gas production company based in Dallas, Texas and focuses on acquiring and developing conventional oil and gas properties in the United States. The newly-formed company needed a bold statement for their brand identity. The letter “A”, resembling the triangular outline of an oil derrick, became my focus after a lot of exploration. I substituted the counter (white space) of the letter “A” for two overlapping outlines of a droplet, one in white to represent natural gas (transported as liquid) and one in black for crude oil. Other applications included business cards and website.
